Cultivation method:
Sow 'Stargazer F1' melon seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost, or directly outdoors when the soil temperature reaches at least 18°C (64°F). Plant in well-drained, organically rich soil in full sun. Space plants 90 cm to 1 m (3 to 3 ft) apart in rows 1.5 to 2 m (5 to 10 ft) apart. Water regularly, especially during fruit formation, to maintain consistent moisture. Mulching can be used to retain moisture and suppress weeds. Harvest the melons when their rind becomes dull, the underside turns slightly yellow, and they sound hollow when tapped.
