Acer × freemanii 'Autumn Fantasy'

Acer × freemanii ‘Autumn Fantasy’, also known as Freeman maple ‘Autumn Fantasy’, is a majestic ornamental tree, resulting from a cross between the red maple and the silver maple, combining rapid growth, a rounded pyramidal habit, and extraordinary autumnal coloration. It is distinguished by its deeply lobed dark green foliage, which transforms into vibrant crimson red at the beginning of autumn, bringing a flamboyant touch to large gardens, parks, or alignment plantings. This maple tolerates various soils well, as long as they are well-drained, and thrives in full sun. Hardy and easy to cultivate in Quebec, ‘Autumn Fantasy’ adapts to most urban or rural situations thanks to its drought and pollution resistance. Its imposing structure, vigor, and incomparable autumnal display make it a top choice for enhancing large landscape designs.
