Aronia prunifolia 'Viking', or Viking black chokeberry, is a vigorous and very productive fruit shrub, selected for the generous size of its berries and their high antioxidant content. It develops a dense rounded habit, adorned in spring with abundant white flowers that give way to glossy black fruit in late summer, highly prized for juices, jams and nutritional powders.
