Canna 'Fantasy' (Canna) offers cream-colored flowers reminiscent of small orchids, delicately speckled with peach and pink. They rise on upright stems above large, tropical-looking green leaves. The plant reaches approximately 100 cm (39 in) in height and 50 cm (20 in) in spread. The package contains one size No. 1 rhizome. Its compact habit is suitable for sunny borders, exotic beds, and large patio containers. Flowering continues from mid-summer until the first frosts when the site receives sufficient heat, water, and nutrients.

Plant in spring, after the last frost, in warm, fertile, loose, and well-drained soil. Place the rhizome approximately 10 cm (4 in) deep, buds facing up, and allow 45 cm (18 in) around the plant. Full sun promotes flowering; bright partial shade is suitable in very hot locations. Water after planting, then keep the soil regularly moist without standing water. Incorporate mature compost and fertilize lightly during growth. For pots, choose a stable container at least 35 to 40 cm (14 to 16 in) in diameter and depth, as the large leaves catch the wind.

Remove faded flowers to maintain a neat silhouette and support the opening of new buds. Cut leaves only when they turn yellow or are damaged. Before the first frost, dig up the rhizome or bring the pot indoors. Allow the rhizome to dry briefly, then store it in a dark, airy, and frost-free place, ideally between 5 and 10 °C. Keep it almost dry during dormancy. The following spring, divide only the firm sections with at least one bud. Pair 'Fantasy' with zinnias, salvias, verbenas, and compact grasses that also appreciate sun and heat.

Growing method
