Cultivation method:
Sow seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last expected frost. Use a peat moss-based mix to encourage rapid germination (21-24°C). Once seedlings are 4cm tall, transplant them into individual pots and reduce the temperature to 15-18°C. Once hardened off, transplant them into the ground in late May, spacing 60cm apart.
Provide regular irrigation at the base and apply mulch to preserve moisture and protect fruit. Rotate crops annually to limit disease.
