The Thunder Mountain Longhorn is a unique and spectacular pepper , originating from the mountainous region of Guizhou in China , more precisely from the Leigongshan Mountains , also called Thunder Mountains . This pepper, with a long, thin and slightly curly appearance, is distinguished by its exceptional length which can exceed 30 cm (1 foot) .

With a moderate heat of about 20,000 SHU , it offers a milder and more aromatic flavor than cayenne pepper , with a slight smoky touch when dried . It is widely used in Asian cuisine, especially dried, smoked or ground to enhance dishes without excess heat .

The compact but extremely productive plant reaches up to 1.2 metres (4 feet) in height , providing a bountiful harvest throughout the season .

Cultivation method:
