'Blanda' Hardy Rose

‘Blanda’ Wild Rose (Rosa ‘Blanda’). The ‘Blanda’ Wild Rose is a robust native shrub rose, appreciated for its natural character and high hardiness. Derived from the species Rosa blanda, it forms an upright, slightly spreading shrub with almost thornless stems. In early summer, it produces an abundance of simple, bright to medium pink flowers, delicately scented, highlighting an attractive golden center for pollinators. Its medium green foliage sometimes takes on beautiful autumn hues, followed by decorative persistent red rose hips.

To plant ‘Blanda’ Wild Rose, choose a suitable exposure: sun. The recommended soil is: tolerates various well-drained soils. Water at the base and allow air to circulate between the branches.
