Canna 'Bronze Wyoming' (1 rhizome)

Wyoming Bronze Canna Lily (Canna × generalis ‘Wyoming’) is a spectacular tropical perennial distinguished by its broad, dark bronze leaves with rich copper highlights. From July to September, bright orange flowers rise in airy clusters above the dark foliage, creating a warm and luminous contrast. Its rapid growth and vigorous silhouette, reaching approximately 150 cm (60 in) in height, instantly bring structure, depth, and tropical character to summer landscapes. Not hardy in Quebec, this canna is grown as a seasonal plant, while its rhizomes are stored in a frost-free location and replanted the following spring.
Grow ‘Wyoming’ canna lily in full sun in rich, fertile, organic, evenly moist, and perfectly drained soil. Plant the rhizome horizontally in spring after all danger of frost has passed, approximately 10 cm (4 in) deep, and space plants 40 to 50 cm (16 to 20 in) apart. Keep the soil consistently moist with generous watering, without allowing standing water. Apply a balanced fertilizer every two weeks to support vigorous growth and abundant flowering. Remove spent flowers, then lift the rhizomes before the first frost and store them in a cool, dry place.
With its majestic appearance, ‘Wyoming’ canna lily becomes an outstanding focal point in tropical flower beds, generous borders, exotic gardens, and large containers measuring at least 45 cm (18 in) in diameter. On a patio, its copper-bronze foliage creates a lush display, while its bright orange flowers add vibrant colour until the first frost. Pair it with caladiums, alocasias, coleus, begonias, or ornamental grasses to create richly textured, high-contrast plantings. Its flowers also attract a variety of pollinators and may be used in summer floral arrangements, although they are not intended for consumption.
