Preparation of the tubers
Before planting , let the tubers germinate in a bright, cool place for 2 to 3 weeks.
Planting method
1Choose a well-drained, light soil rich in organic matter.
2Plant the tubers 10 cm (4") deep and space them 30 cm (12") apart.
3Cover with soil and water lightly .
Buttage
Once the plants reach 20 cm (8") in height, mound soil around the stems to encourage tuber production and protect them from the sun.
