Cultivation method:
Sow 'Tabby' cat barley seeds directly in a pot or in the ground, at a depth of 1 cm, in well-drained soil. Maintain a temperature of 18 to 21°C to encourage germination, which occurs in 7 to 10 days. Water regularly to maintain light moisture and place the plant in a sunny or partially shaded location. You can harvest the barley 3 to 4 weeks after sowing, once it has reached a height of 10 to 15 cm.
