Cultivation method:
The 'Loriot' dwarf bean is sown directly in the garden from mid-May to the end of July , once all risk of frost has passed. The seeds require warm soil between 18 and 24°C for optimal germination. Avoid sowing too early and overly wet soil, which hinders emergence.
It prefers light, well-drained soil in full sun . Sow seeds 5 to 8 cm apart in rows approximately 50 cm apart. For a prolonged harvest, sow seeds every two weeks until July. Fertilize sparingly, avoiding direct contact between the seeds and concentrated fertilizer; excess nitrogen promotes foliage growth at the expense of pods. Regular watering is recommended during dry periods.
