Rudbeckia Prairie Glow
description
Rudbeckia 'Prairie Glow' (Rudbeckia triloba), offered by the seed company WH Perron
The rudbeckia 'Prairie Glow' is an exceptional, short-lived perennial that will brighten your garden with a profusion of small, two-toned yellow and orange flowers, each with a dark center. Its 2.5 cm diameter blooms bring a vibrant, natural touch to flowerbeds. Although short-lived, this rudbeckia self-seeds readily, ensuring its presence for many years. Pinching back young plants early in the season will encourage lateral shoots to produce more flowers.

Growing tips:
Sow the seeds indoors 8 to 10 weeks before the last frost, or directly outdoors once all risk of frost has passed. Maintain a temperature of 15 to 18°C for rapid germination in 10 to 14 days. When sowing, lightly cover the seeds with potting soil, as they need some light to germinate.
The 'Prairie Glow' rudbeckia prefers well-drained, moderately rich soil and full sun. It also tolerates poorer soils, making it easy to care for. Water regularly to encourage abundant flowering, but allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings to prevent disease.
A long-lasting and vibrant perennial!
With its warm colors and abundance of flowers, the rudbeckia 'Prairie Glow' is perfect for natural gardens and country-style bouquets. Although short-lived, its self-seeding ability ensures a renewed display each year. Ideal for adding movement and life to your flowerbeds in late summer and early autumn. Grow this variety for a vibrant garden, year after year!
