Farming method

Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for up to 12 hours to promote rapid and even germination. Sow directly outdoors as soon as the soil is workable, at a depth of 0.6 to 1.2 cm , in loose, cool, and well-drained soil . Space the plants 15 to 20 cm apart and the rows 30 to 45 cm apart to allow for good air circulation and optimal foliage development.

Coriander prefers partial sun/partial shade (level 2) and regular watering (level 2) . Consistent soil moisture helps maintain the aromatic quality of the leaves, especially during hot weather.

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest the leaves when they reach about 10 cm in height , regularly cutting back the outer stems to encourage regrowth. The leaves should be eaten immediately after harvesting to fully appreciate their aromatic intensity. The plant can also be left in place to produce seeds at the end of the season.
