Farming method

Soak the seeds in lukewarm water for up to 12 hours to promote even germination. Sow directly outdoors as soon as the soil is workable, at a depth of 0.6 to 1.2 cm , in loose, cool, and well-drained soil . Space the plants 5 to 10 cm apart and the rows 10 to 15 cm apart for dense planting suitable for harvesting young leaves.

Coriander prefers partial sun/partial shade (level 2) and regular watering (level 2) . Keeping the soil slightly moist helps prolong leaf production and preserve its aromatic quality.

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest the leaves when they reach about 10 cm in height , regularly cutting back the outer stems to encourage regrowth. The leaves should be eaten immediately after harvesting , when their aroma is at its peak. Successive sowings ensure a continuous supply.
