Farming method

To encourage germination, soak the seeds for a maximum of 8 hours in lukewarm water (longer soaking will kill the seeds). Sow directly outdoors after the last frost , at a depth of 2.5–5 cm .
Space the plants 7 to 10 cm apart, with 30 cm between rows. Provide support (trellis, teepee, netting) due to its semi-climbing habit. Germination takes 8 to 10 days at 21 to 31°C (optimum 26°C). For a continuous harvest, sow seeds every 3 weeks .

Full sun exposure (level 3), moderate watering (level 2).

Harvesting and preservation

Harvest when the pods and seeds are fully mature and dry . Leave enough space and air around the plants to allow for optimal drying of the beans at the end of the season.
Store only dried beans , in an airtight container, away from light and moisture.
