Organic 'Bee Feed Flower Mix' pollinator flower mix
Gaia's organic 'Bee Feed Flower Mix' is a pollinator-friendly flower mix, providing nourishment for abundant foraging and more productive gardens.
The 'Bee Feed Flower Mix' brings together a diverse range of annual and self-seeding wildflowers specially selected to feed a wide variety of pollinators : honeybees, solitary bees, bumblebees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects. By attracting these valuable visitors, this mix directly contributes to increased yields of fruiting vegetables such as peppers, tomatoes, squash, and peas. It also promotes a resilient ecosystem by supporting a diverse insect population, key to a balanced garden naturally protected against many pests. With its varied, colorful, and nectar-rich flowers, it creates a vibrant and dynamic landscape from spring to autumn.

Farming method
Ensure the plot is free of weeds . Distribute the seeds evenly, then lightly rake to ensure good contact with the soil. Do not sow deeper than 3 mm (1/8 in). Keep the soil moist until germination, which occurs in 8 to 21 days at temperatures between 10 and 25 °C (optimum 18 °C). Sow in late spring , early summer , or late autumn when the soil temperature is below 4.4 °C to avoid premature germination. Plant in partial sun/partial shade (level 2) with moderate watering (level 2). Space plants approximately 8 cm apart and 90 cm between sowing areas to allow room for growth.
Harvesting and use
Pick some fresh flowers for wild bouquets. Let many flowers go to seed to feed pollinators and birds, and to allow for natural reseeding the following year.
