Place the seeds 3 mm deep and space the plants 15 to 20 cm apart, with 30 to 35 cm between rows. Germination occurs in 14 to 21 days at 12–15 °C . Plant in full sun (level 3) and maintain light watering (level 1).
Harvesting and preservation
Poppies are primarily grown for their decorative blooms. Cut the flowers early in the morning if you wish to use them fresh, although they don't last long in a vase. Allow them to go to seed to encourage natural self-seeding .
