Common name
Panicle Hydrangea ‘Limelight Prime’®
Type
Ornamental shrub
Family
Hydrangeaceae

Hydrangea paniculata ‘Limelight Prime’® is a modern and improved shrubby hydrangea, recognized for its intense lime-green blooms, which appear earlier and last longer than those of the famous ‘Limelight’. This variety is distinguished by its large, very dense conical panicles, opening a vibrant chartreuse green before evolving to creamy white, then taking on pinkish hues at the end of the season. Its overall habit is upright, robust, and well-balanced, with a silhouette slightly taller than wide, supported by strong stems that hold the flowers perfectly. It is suitable for structured beds, flowering hedges, and standalone plantings. Like all Hydrangea paniculata, ‘Limelight Prime’® blooms on new wood, ensuring reliable flowering every summer, even after harsh winters. The dark green deciduous foliage powerfully highlights the luminous blooms and extends the decorative interest until autumn.
