Heirloom and heritage tomatoes

Heirloom and heritage tomatoes offer a wide range of colours, shapes and flavours for a vegetable garden that reflects your tastes. Our selection of heirloom tomato seeds and plants brings together the cultivars chosen for this category, from cherry tomatoes to large, fleshy fruit suited to salads, sauces or preserving. The collection also includes Heirloom Marriage F1 varieties, clearly identified as hybrids on their product pages, for gardeners interested in these crosses of heirloom varieties.

When choosing tomato seeds in Canada, compare maturity, determinate or indeterminate growth habit and the requirements of each cultivar. A sunny location, well-drained soil, consistent watering and suitable supports help plants develop throughout the season. Depending on the variety, heirloom tomatoes can grow in garden beds, large containers or a greenhouse. Check each description for sowing advice, fruit characteristics and availability before planning your planting. Whether you garden in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada, discover heritage tomatoes that suit your space, your growing conditions and your favourite recipes.
